Good Practice

Every 360 Home Check report uses a clear Red, Amber and Green system so families know exactly what needs attention and in what order.

Red: Act Immediately 5 found

Serious hazards that pose an immediate risk of a problem occurring (for example a fall, injury, fire or serious incident). We recommend addressing these within days of receiving your report.

Amber: Address Soon 3 found

Risks that should be resolved sooner rather than later. Not immediately dangerous, but worth acting on before they develop into something more serious.

Green: Good Practice 1 found

Existing adaptations and safe habits already working well. We highlight these so families can build on what is already helping.

This is just the kitchen.

A full 360 Home Check covers every room inside and out, including bathrooms, stairs, hallways, and outdoor spaces. Most families are surprised by what we find.

FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

Still wondering about something? We’re happy to talk it through before you book.

A typical assessment takes around 2 to 3 hours. This includes an initial conversation about your health and lifestyle, a thorough room-by-room inspection of the inside and outside of your home, and time at the end to summarise key findings and answer your questions.
360 Home Check is a private service. While the NHS does offer some falls prevention and occupational therapy services, demand is high and waiting times can be lengthy. Our service is designed to be fast, thorough, and available to you right now without waiting for a referral.
All assessments are carried out by one of our trained Home Safety Consultants, all of whom have backgrounds as registered nurses or senior NHS health and care professionals. Every assessor is DBS-checked, fully insured, and committed to treating your home and privacy with complete respect.
You will receive your personalised written report within 5 working days of the assessment. The report uses a clear Red, Amber and Green rating system and plain language, written to be easily shared with family, a GP, or social services if helpful.
Yes. We offer the option to pay in full (£699 + VAT) or to spread the cost across instalments. Contact us before booking if you would like to discuss payment options and we will find an arrangement that works for you.
Our recommendations are always practical and prioritised. We include low-cost and no-cost changes alongside bigger suggestions. We can also point you toward local council grants, occupational therapy services, and charities that help fund home adaptations for older adults.
Yes. Our assessors are experienced in working with people living with dementia and other cognitive conditions. We adapt our approach to the individual, always working with compassion, patience, and respect. The family or carer is welcome to be present throughout the visit.
